Pirta® TPO Primer
Pirta® TPO Primer is a water-based primer designed for external use on new or aged Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) single-ply roofing membranes. Also compatible with EPDM, PVC, and other single-ply roofing membranes. Environmentally friendly, low-VOCs, chlorine and APEO free. It offers exceptional durability and hide with a finish that resists mildew, stains and rust.
As a low-VOC, low-odor primer, Pirta® TPO Primer is environmentally friendly and has been designed to enhance both the effectiveness and durability of Pirta® Cooling Paint.
Available as a white or clear solution.

Surface Preparation
Patch test on a small area of roofing membrane before applying to the entire roof surface. Compatible with TPO and other single-ply roofing membranes. It Is recommended to wash the roofing membrane surface prior to application. Roofing membranes should be free of oil, grease, loose material and should be clean and dry. If priming white on a non-white surface, build layers until a solid color is achieved. For the best results, allow the TPO 15C Primer to dry overnight before applying an acrylic topcoat.
Cleanup Information
Clean spills and spatters immediately with soap and warm water. Clean hands and tools immediately after use with soap and warm water. After cleaning, flush spray equipment with compliant clean-up solvent to prevent rusting of the equipment. Follow manufacturer's safety recommendations when using solvents.
Recommended Spray Instructions
HVLP using up to 15% clean water with a 15-18 thou tip.
Airless sprayer pressured to 2,500 PSI with a 13-15 thou tip, 50° angle.
